Valtrex

What is Valtrex used for?

Valtrex, a type of medication known as a type of medication, is used to treat a wide variety of viral infections including cold sores, shingles, genital herpes, and chickenpox.

How does Valtrex work?

Valtrex works by slowing down the replication of viruses by interfering with the virus’s ability to produce a large amount of the protein it needs to multiply. When a virus enters a host of cells, it creates an enzyme called a viral DNA polymerase. This enzyme is responsible for initiating the replication of the virus in a cell.

After the virus enters the cell, it’s converted into an active form called a DNA polymerase. Once the virus has made DNA, it’s ready for repair and growth. The virus can then multiply and the DNA is destroyed. Valtrex helps to reduce the size of the virus that is already present.

Valtrex is also used to treat a wide variety of infections caused by viruses, such as those that have spread to other parts of the body such as the brain and the kidneys. It can also be used to prevent infections caused by viruses in the body. Valtrex is available as a tablet, an ointment, or a cream.
